Yes, it is summer in Farmville, but at FUMC mission work is still the focus. Have you ever heard of Christmas in July? If you worship, connect & serve at FUMC then you have certainly heard of Christmas in July! Sarah Stokes our long time, dedicated leader of Operation Christmas Child, has a tradition of hosting an ice cream social in July to prepare for our season of giving to children around the world! Please join us on July 11th at 7PM in the social hall for ice cream, crafts, box wrapping and other hands on mission work.

School's out for summer, YES, but not Sunday school! Our youth and children have combined forces. Each Sunday at 9:45 all children & youth are gathering in the Youth Suite. Each Sunday the kids will engage in a hands on mission project!
Packing Health Kits
On July 26th a group of youth from our church will travel to Christiansburg, VA for their very own mission trip! The youth will be in mission for a whole week doing home repair in the area. Please be in prayer for Lyndsie and her team of you as they spend a portion of their summer break helping others. I am pretty sure we have the most awesome youth in the world!
